Automated Booking Service Giving Priority to Regular Customers.
IVR or Integrated Voice Response, gives Allens Taxis the ability to offer a faster, efficient service to more customers. The system allows regular customers to book a taxi without speaking to an operator. Once the customer is eligible the system will automatically offer the automated service. Generally it takes 15/20 seconds to book a taxi using the automated service.
Of course IVR will not replace our staff, but it will free up our telephonists to concentrate on dealing with calls that demand their attention. 1 in 3 customers use the automated service and we are delighted with the positive feedback from customers. Once eligible the system will automatically offer the automated service.

2. Select your pick up point by pressing 1, 2 or 3
3. Press 1 for a taxi asap.
4. That's it! Mobile phone users receive a booking confirmation by text SMS.
